"kotagirirao",
The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp . We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Posts which contravene the naming convention are not eligible to win books! Please choose a new name which meets the requirements.

Thanks.

I think it is important for us to move forward in learning things that are important. The Architect exam's prepares us for a lot of things on the J2EE platform among other areas. So once you clear your JCP you can go ahead for the developer exam or the Architect exam. The decision rests on you.

It will to some extent, especially when learning about EJBs, but the SCEA doesn't really deal with code at all. The SCJP is a good foundation to build on but the SCEA covers a wide range of topics. Check out the objectives.
