I know that the knowledge of EJB is essential in the Architect exams. However is the knowledge of Java Beans essential to study Enterprise Java Beans ? Can I jump to EJB without knowing Java Beans ?

Actually there is no relation between Java Beans and Enterprise Java Beans other than the word "Beans". This is a common misconception between people that since they share the word beans among them they should have something in common. In the simplest of terms you do not need to know Java Beans to learn Enterprise Java Beans, though the knowledge might help a little. ------------------ Regds. Mahindrakar
