so , SCJEA aspirants , good news is there. Some patterns , I think 15 are released by sun thro' developer connection.

Bidyut, I don't know whether it will be sufficient or rather it will come in the exam or not. What I feel that If It is made avaialble by sun , then take full benefit of the opprtunity.

These are aimed at constructing J2EE systems while the pattern-related objectives I remember were: 1) knowing the GoF patterns and 2) knowing the patterns used in association with EJBs such as Factory, Decorator, etc.
The Data Access Object and Value Object and maybe Session Facade might be good to know for the test.
This is good information to know to help you build J2EE systems but I think the SCEA part 1 is at a more basic level than this.

Hi,
I think one can check out the Data Access Object pattern as it forms a part of the Objectives specified in the EJB section last point
