The answer is
a) application
c) exception
d) config
and not b) throwable
JSP container makes implicitly available to all scriplets application and config objects. Inaddition for errorpage "exception" object is also available. Throwable object is not implicitly available but can be accessed within a scriplet using implicit exception object.

These are the implicit objects:
The page object is a PageContext.
The application object is a ServletContext.
The session object is a ServletSession.
The request object is a HttpServletRequest.
In addition, the error object is an Exception and is only available to the errorPage.

Thanks Danl for your answer, I realise I have very little understanding of the implicit objects available to a jsp page
and it is mentioned in the jsp tutorial on sun site. Iam going to go through that too, ur answer was a big help, thanks again.
