I just passed SCJP with 93%. Since my concentration is on server side development, I'm thinking I'm going to take the SCJA directly. I'm not feeling like to deal with the graphic things. I know SCJD will require your Swing experience. I don't know if you guys have passed SCJD or not. Would appreciate for any advice.

It is not required to clear SCJD for SCEA. I am also doing directly after clearing SJCP. I think most of them in this site are doing in the same way.

Ever,
SCJD is not a prerequistite for the SCJEA. You can directly jump to it. In fact you do not even require SCJP. So go ahead and take your plunge and we are here to help you out.

I did all three exams, and found the RMI experience was a good foundation for understanding EJB. A friend of mine here went straight for the Architect exam and had no trouble with it. So I suppose you can go either route. It sounds like you don't need the experience of the Developer exam as much as I did.
