Hi Friend's what will be the answer to the following Questions. 1. What design pattern exists in between ejb bean class & remote interface(is it PROXY?) 2. what will be the Design pattern for DAO as of GOF. (Singleton or DAO Pattern of ejb?) 3.Two programs are there- and running concurrently. Both will select multiple rows from the table. No table updates can occur while the 2 programs are running. Bidyut, I've been looking for some references to GoF to J2EE information also as my notes are light in this area. 1) Looks like a proxy to me. 2) Sun says Factory (abstract or method) for DAO. 3) The "BEST" performance is Read-Committed. The question doesn't say multiple reads, just select multiple rows. So I'm going to say <C>. If the requirement stated multiple reads of the same data, then we need to use D, or E if we don't want to see inserts. Has anybody found books/articles on GoF used in J2EE. I've found GoF patterns for J2EE applications, but not J2EE itself. Scott
