I have passed SCJP, and want to go ahead
since I do not have enough money and time, I want to choose one
from java developer and j2ee architect, but I am not sure which one is more useful
can anyone give me some suggestion? thanks

if you are developer with say 2 -3 years experience , then I think You should go for SCJD i.e. developer. Now Sun has also started SCWCD ( Sun certified Web Component Developer ) . You can also go for that as you are scjp.
If you have experince of system Architect , then I feel SCJEA will be value addition to you.
You can also go to Job Discussion Forum , where you will find good discussion about the problems you have.
For SCWCD , you can go to the forum started for this certification.
I hope this can help you to certain extent.

Shailesh.
