Hi,
I did not even pass part 1, but here are the books suggested by someone in yahoo groups. I don't know the authors' names.
Professional Java Server Programming J2EE Edition - Volume II
Designing Enterprise Applications with Java 2 platform
Enterprise Java with UML
Core J2EE patterns
Can anyone have ideas on any other books?
Thanks.

Hello Folks,
I just discovered these forum about SCEA ....it is really great !!
I'm preparing myself the SCEA (part 1) and I hope I will have the same result like you ( Ashish) with same effort ;-)
I already read a lot of books in my own experience and to prepare these certification.
We used to mention always the same reference book : Design pattern GOF, Core j2ee pattern, Sun J2EE Blue print, UML distilled, EJB monson-haefel.....
...But One of the best book is the "Building Java Entreprise Systems with J2EE" (Paul J. Perrone and Changati).
It is really the Bible !!
It contains all you need to get ready !!!
Great chapter about Enterprise systems insurance, java security, JTA, JMS, EJB, COM/DCOM, CORBA, XML, RMI, Web communication....it has all the UML class diagram of any API...
