From my reading and playing around a bit with weblogic 6.1 which supports EJB2.0 It is clear to me that this is a way superior technology and I would like to use it in my project. That would allow me to sweep away all the messy DAO objects and use CMP to truly make it portable and consistent.
However I can clearly remember reading that something should only be done using EJB1.1. This I think reffered to part 1. I have scanned the problem statement for part 2 for this restriction but can not find it.
Are my eyes deceiving me? Is anyone else using EJB2.0
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
