Hi Guys:
I passed part one two days ago. Firstly I want to thank everyone here for the help. Even there is not complete resource like scwcd, I think John's note, Simon's note, and other links help me a lot.
I checked my account, which has not been updated yet. I got 100% in EJB and j2ee applicability. My overall score is not high, just enough to pass.
This is a very difficult victory for me. I was overwhelmed at the beginning of the exam, because every question looks like a small project. And I know I have to answer 48 Q's in 75 min. But I managed to stayed in the game and gathered myself together. With 17 min. to go, I finished with only one Q unanswered. I started to go over my answer again. I barely made it in time. I totally made ~10 changes, including 3 in the last 3 min. When I finally completed, there are only 17 sec. left. Suddenly, I found myself don't know what to do in the last 17 sec.
This feels like a basketball game, a come-from-behind win. While it may be a little bit lucky, but this is the kind of the game I should expect when you play a team like Duke, Arizona, Michigan State, or UCLA.
I wasted no time to download the assignment and read through the instruction. My first impression is: easy. It looks like this is just a game of UML. I hope I can complete it in a month.
Once again, thanks a lot, Javaranch. And good luck to all of you.
Don Liu

Hi Boy
Could you description the ejb section of the part one for me? Some body say it's ejb 2.0 now. I cannot believe it. I think it should be ejb 1.1 since I got the 1.1 training material from sun at yesterday.

To my knowledge, part 1 only covers through EJB 1.2, for certain topic, such as applet security, u need to know them all. It is also good to know the major difference between different version.
Hope this will help.
