I just found this site and so far it's rocking!
My initial questions will be breif, I am taking the first SCEA the last week of Feb. I am an expierenced Servlet programmer, mediocre EJB programmer, pathetic Pattern and Security/Encryption user and novice UML.
Any input on what/where to get start studying?
Thanks,
Steve

Steve,
Given that the cert is for a J2EE Architect, EJB, Design Patterns and UML all feature prominently. Servlet and JSP technologies are not a focus. If you scour the old posts on this site you will find a lot of valuable info and links. There is a Yahoo Group dedicated to the SCEA called aptly enough scea_j2ee. Having said this, the site that I found most useful was the following;
http://certificationguru.com/javaarchitectresources.html
Hope that this helps, and good luck with the exam.
Thanks and regards,
Andrew

this is supposed to be a surprise, but it smells like a tiny ad:
