Thanks to all in the javaranch for the good advice. I think I'm quite unlucky throughout the whole 3 parts certification process. Why ? (1) After completing part 1, I had problems downloading part 2 and need to email Sun with many emails exchanges. (2) After completing part 2, I had problems uploading the assignment and again emailed Sun on several occasions. (3) After taking part 3 on 18 Dec 2001, it was only until today that I got the results. Again, I emailed Sun a lot of times for this.
At last, I'm glad that this whole process has finally came to a stop .
Should I take the remaining SCJD to complete all four ?

Well done
Great news ... it seems to me that this is one of the hardest Certifications to pass ... the fact that it has no pre-requisits puzzles me!
Well done for eventually getting through the process and succeeding!

Congratulations !
Should I take the remaining SCJD to complete all four ?
Yes....if you have time and money (250$ assignment + 150$ essay)... It is implementation of FBN !! I'm working on it actually....just for the fun !

Hi Kodo ,,
Really well done....
Congratsssssssssss!!!
I have cleared SJCP2..with 86%.. Now I want to go for SCWCD.. but my friends suggested that go for SCEJA... What is your opinion
which is more useful....
I dont have any prior knowledge in EJB and UML stuff... I am totally new to this ... How long it will take to clear the SCEJA.. If study 4 hrs/day..

Suresh - A 'working' knowledge of EJB is not required (I mean method signatures etc). Only simple UML is required (see the UML questions in my mock exam), the design patterns stuff you should be able to learn parrot fashion.
Glad you find my site useful - I have run out of webspace (5mb) so I can't update it anymore (think it's the log files taking up room). Once I get the space upgraded & finish my job (last day feb 18th) I'll spend some time finishing the unfinished bits, I also want to get Oracle DBA certified pretty soon.
The job market seems to be picking up a little & came back from a great holiday in the Maldives yesterday so I guess it's time to put in some hard work & get my next job.
