PartII - sequence diagram detail level

I am working on the partII assignment and was wondering how detailed to make the sequence diagrams for the use cases.
I have searched this forum for past posts and some SCEAs used little detail while others used more.

My question in particular is :
I have an architecture that is similar to the petstore, but uses struts as the MVC framework. For each http request, an action is created that creates an event that gets sent to the ejb controller. This event is then processed on the ejb tier and a response is sent back to the user. So for each use case, many http requests are made and I don't want to clutter up the diagram showing that http->action->event flow for each user action to the system.
I was hoping those of you out there that have cleared partII could give me a bit of advice on representing the MVC framework in the sequence diagrams.
My first idea is to have an MVCFramework object that gets messages from the actor and then passes them to the appropriate service. And then show a sequence diagram that details the MVCFramework object flow.
Well don't expect me to do the dishes! This ad has been cleaned for your convenience:
