Hi all,
I wanted to ask a couple of questions about part II:

I wanted to confirm that for part II, you do not submit any source code, just diagrams. Is this right? Anything else?
Also wanted to ask of those who have passed or recently submitted part II, how long did it take you to complete?

Thanks,
Art

Yes, the project does not include any code, just diagrams, and any accompanying assumptions or explanations you want to add to those diagrams. This is all to be packaged up as HTML so that all your diagrams can be navigated to from one page, and everything is put into a JAR file. They want the file to ideally be between 200k and 400k (mine was about 250k, I've heard of people uploading ones as large as 1m), so you ideally want your diagrams to be compact, like GIF files.
I took 7 days to complete mine. From a previous post, I mentioned that the breakdown of time I spent on the assignment was the following:
2 days reading the assignment and thinking.
1 day writing pseudocode from the use cases (this is not required - this is just the way I personally start diagrams).
1 day drawing the class diagram from the pseudocode.
2 days drawing the sequence diagrams from the class diagram and use cases.
1 day drawing the component diagram.
It will still be a few weeks until I get my results, so maybe the time I spent on the assignment was not ideal. Maybe it was too much, or too little. Time Will Tell.
