about SUN CERTIFIED ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT test

I am a SCJP, may I take the SUN CERTIFIED ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT test before SCJD.

Yup, that's right. No prereqs for the architect exam, other than a massive amount of study time and practice (!). The more you've seen from Java, the easier the exam gets. At least that's my opinion.

Sure you can, but the developer help to get the idea clear about transaction, pattern, RMI and writing good code in java.
When you'll have the architect cert the developer cert will appear like a piece of cake...
If you're an already experienced java developer (>5 years exclusively on java) then go for the architect cert direct.
