In objective about protocol:
"Select common firewall features that might interface with the normal operation of a given protocol"
can anyone expain this? any example?

You should read up on the basics of protocols and/or firewalls, then you will understand.
Basically, firewalls are made to be able to selectively filter out packets based on various criteria. These criteria can be built into the product, or configured by the user. For example, if you block all TCP packets with a port number of 80, HTTP is obviously completely disabled. Some protocols, such as IIOP or Oracle SQLNET, for example, are either complicated in their use of ports, or do not always use a standard port, so many people may not know how to configure a firewall to pass it.

really want to know if there is some articles about IIOP, JRMP and HTTPS related to firewall.Is there any?
