Somebody from scea_j2ee group(harshdeshpande@yahoo.com) get the comfirmed information from Monica Green (Sun Educational Services, monica.green@sun.com):
"The current architect exam was written for J2EE 1.2 which covers EJB 1.1".
I just wonder if there's anybody here pass the Part II by using Version1.3 feature, such as MDB, local interface etc. ?

Sun never directly addresses this in the exam so I don't see how they could take of points for using J2EE 1.3. There document says that the solution must be J2EE but does not mention a version.
Personally, I think you can get away without specifying the version. Local Interfaces do not need to be a part of the Architectural view, that is more of an implementation detail. Also there is no asynchronous feature necessary in part II so you won't need to choose between a plain JMS Java Class or an MDB.

Note:
Asynchronous processing is not required for part II, that is not to say that it could not be used.
