Prerequisites for Architecture exam?

From looking at Sun's site it doesn't look like there are any prerequisites for the Architecture exam. Is this true?
In particular do I need to pass the developer test before attempting the achitect test?

That requirement has been eliminated.

As far as I can recollect SCJD2 was never a requirement for either the old SCJA2 exam or the new SCEA-J2EE exam.

It's been awhile since I looked at it but the
JCert program, .JCert Home, had some constraints. IBM still requires a progession
of tests for some of their certificates.
IBM Certified Solution Developer -
IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer for Windows, V4.0.3 is a good example,
