How about a separate section to discuss the different specifications: JLS, Servlet, JSP etc ?
It might help us to understand the specifications better.

I don't think that would work - we are always talking about specifications in connection with specific user problems.

That's right. But still there are some general issues which can be discussed for which I dont find any appropriate forum to post in.

Why?
you can put doubts about Servlet, JSP specs in SCJWC - exam forum. Or in Servlet/JSP. There are lots of people which are eager to share your doubts to learn more.
I think to much forum detailization is harmful. For example the separation of XML and XML-Cert wasn't a good idea for my taste, because on both forums there aren't a lot postings each day and I have to check both forums because I am interested in the topic.
