I just took it last night and can confirm that it is EJB 1.1 at this time. When will they switch over, I don't know. I did read both editions of Ed Roman's "Mastering EJB" (i.e. 1.1 and 2).

I heard the changes to the SCEA would take place in august towards the end of summer. So are saying it will not take place until February 2003.
