accessing EJBs behind firewall

has anyone tried accessing EJB remote interfaces
exposed by a weblogic server located behind a firewall?
any pointers / tips on how to achive this w'd be of great help to me since we have to do this.

This is going to be tough one maan.. You may have to expose the components as web services. If you find a solution other than this let me know too
Can Http tunneling can be used ?
