Hi all,
after waiting for about 4 weeks I got my results on parts 2 and 3.
My score on these parts is 95 %. I lost 5 points in the component diagram, which I knew was a weak point in my submission. For the class and sequence diagrams, I got all points.
My diagrams were quite detailed. I had real method names and in some places even method signatures in there. I also added about 5 pages of explanations.
Thank you all for your helpful ideas and discussions!
Best regards,
Theo

SCEA part II is only a design so basically what you just asked is for Theo to send you his answer... not likely.
BTW, congrats on passing II & III Theo.

Knasser: No, I may not give you the design, sorry.
My resources were basically the ones listed here in Javaranch, plus Cade's SCEA Study guide, and a bit of the Petstore documentation (I did not go deeply into its code).
Franky: My design was very detailed, I had a package diagram, a class diagram (with methods and signatures), three component diagrams in various detail levels, and 7 sequence diagrams (4 for the fat client, 3 for the web client).
My assumption document was pretty large, I first wrote about my understanding of the given BDOM, then stated my decisions and afterwards added stuff abot security, performance and legacy adaptation.
Looking at my score, I believe that the component diagrams need to be more coarse-grained than I had done, more in the way it is outlined in Cade's book.
Regards, Theo

Guys,
I Apologise to you all , I didnt know the assigments are similar, my post was the same day I finished part-I, I am wondering is it reasonable that all the assigments are the same?

I think the assignments are all the same just because Sun did not want to put more resources into the certification. I am not the authority on the subject, but I wouldn't be surprised if the next iteration of the SCEA exam has multiple variations on the project portion.

I think you'll find that the assignments are *similar* but not the same. The small differences can help Sun spot plagiarism.
