Hi All,
Thanks to all the members of this group.
Today i passed part 1 with 83% amdist many tensions and confusions of taking the exam. Though i am not an active participator in the group, but i often go through the messages posted by others. Regarding my study details, i have 2 years of EJB experience and have been studying for the exam for the last 2 months. But unfortunately due to heavy work pressures in the job, i had to stop prepartion for 2 weeks and i could not able to review what i studied earlier. I had only 2 days to review and take the test. So, I am quite satisfied with my score as i could not able to review the whole syllabus.
My break is:
Concepts------------- 100%
Common Architectures- 50%
Legacy Connectivity-- 80%
EJB------------------ 88%
EJB Container Model-- 100%
Protocols------------ 100%
Applicability of J2EE 100%
Design Patterns------ 80%
Messaging------------ 100%
Internationalization- 100%
Security------------- 0%
Thanks to the group once again. Waiting for Part2 and 3. Help required for the preparation for part2.
TIA.

Hi Rony
Thank you very much.
The references i used:-
The files section in scea_j2ee yahoo group and scealinks of this group. The SCEA_Nutshell in files section of scea_j2ee is very useful. Yahoo scea_prep group is also doing very good. These are more than sufficient for the study. Besides the files section of these groups, I also used Mark Cade's book for reference to get to know the level of the knowledge tested in the exam.
The books i had gone thru.
1. EJB - Monson Raefel
2. Messaging - Monson Raefel
3. Intenationalization - Sun tutorial, Mark Cade.
4. Patterns - GoF
5. Legacy Connectivity - Jaworski, Java Certification Training guide
6. Security - java security faq and Mark Cade.
7. UML - Uml Distilled
Wish you all the best for your exam.
HTH
