Hello All,
Now that I have successfully obtained Java 2 Developer Certification (with 89%, so I was quite pleased about it), I am intending to go for the J2EE Enterprise Architect Certification and wondered if you all could recommend a good set of books to study for it with. All suggestions gratefully considered!
Thanks,
James

Well, I guess there is only one book aimed at the SCEA certification (from Prentice-Hall, about 200 pages...).
You could pick up the Core J2EE Patterns book (also from Prentice-Hall, about 500 pages) to learn some commonly used patterns in J2EE projects.
In my opinion, though, some general J2EE book (or bible) could be more useful. Check out Wrox's offerings. Also Que Publishing's "Using J2EE Enterprise Edition" is good (I've got it) and goes through most of the stuff.
I believe that everyone here will agree that the best preparation for the certification is to do the stuff your self - get your hands dirty and the details into your spine.

Spin by the Architect Certification Forum on Javaranch and check out the links page. This should give you a good start. If you are feeling up to it, start going through the posts on the forum. As you can imagine, your question tends to be a hot topic.
You are definitely not going to find a single book that covers all objectives but you can get by with a couple good books and online references.

Good advice - moving this to the SCEA forum...
