Hi Java Experts,
My question is simple, but I am not quite
sure for the answer..
The question is :
Are Statefull Sessions beans pooled ?
I think they are Not, the reason why :
1. I could not find pool congfiguration
in <weblogic-ejb-jar> for Statefull
Session bean.
2. ejbCreate of Statefull session beans
can vary and may have parameters, so
how Container create the bean ?
But ....
Statefull Session Bean has ejbActivate()
and ejbPassivate() that make this bean
has pool effect .. so it means
Container actually pool the Statefull
Session Bean ?
Give me the light....

Stateful session beans are activated and passivated.
Some EJB container may chose pool the bean instance after it's passivated. Some may not. So don't count ont it.

Been there. Done that. Went back for more. But this time, I took this tiny ad with me:
