What books would you suggest to help obtain this certification.

    You have an excellant start already.
    You'll need a rudimentary JMS source.
    You should look at Sun's tutorials for internationalization and security.
    Your other certificates will help.
    Read the old posts in this forumn.

    i think UML Distilled is overrated, there are much better books available on uml so, if you can, return the book. to me, it is basically useless for part2 (component diagrams?). the togethersoft uml tutorial is fine for part 1.

    UML distilled is good book, but from exam point of view it is not prefect. I second tom that togethersoft uml tutorial is good for part 1.
