If you are only concerned about getting past SCEA tests, I strongly recommend you to checkout the notes linked from JavaRanch SCEA links page. They are good enough in content. However, if your goal is to have indepth understanding of the subject, you should probably read multiple titles on subjects such as -
  • Java and CORBA.
  • Using XML and J2EE.
  • JMS for legacy connectivity.
  • Java Connector architecture.

  • There are several good books in each of these categories.
    Cheers,

People don't always do real well at Legacy Connectivity. We're not sure what helps.
There's certain buzz words you ought to know before the test.
There's certain port numbers you ought to commit to memory.
JMS might be part of the legacy connectivity questions. You should have a pretty solid knowledge of JMS basics.
