Passed part 1 with 95%.
I know one of the questions I missed did not seem to have any logical answer. I have researched even after the exam and could not get a satisfactory answer to it.
I have been working with
java technologies since the last 4 years and worked on
EJB during the last 2 years. I took around 2 months to prepare for the exam. I used the Simon Roberts guide. Not very useful for experienced people though.
Around 8 to 10 questions had huge scenarios. A lot of irrelevant info in them. I found it useful to have a quick look at the options before reading the scenario to know what was relevant parts of the scenario. I did follow the common practice of doing all the scenario questions in the end. That too is useful.
I think I got more than the expected number of questions on common architectures and legacy system and lesser on EJB. I was under the assumption that there was a standard number of questions for each topic.
I did go through relevant postings on this forum.
