Appearing for Part 1

Hello All ,
i am planning to appear for Part 1 sometime in june . Is one month time sufficient for the preparation? and what are the important books i should buy /refer.

It really depends on your current level of knowledge and how well you do with tests. If you know nothing about J2EE then one month is likely too short a period of time. If you have been working with J2EE for 3 years then one month is probably reasonable.
Take a look at the exam objectives and honestly judge your knowledge of each.

well I have been workin on Java /J2ee technology for the past 4 years and did a successful large scale project with Swing front end. So know the basics . just have to polish it from a Exam point of view.
So i guess from you reply 1 month should be sufficient time . I was planning to allocate 5.00 am to 6.30 am every morning for preparing for this . hope I am successful.
