Did anybody buy Whizlabs SCEA product lately ? On their website they claim the product can be used online making one not restricted to a single computer. I have activated mine on one computer and not able to use the unique key to activate the product online from a different computer.
Does that mean if my hard drive crashes, I lose the product ? Appreciate any answers.
Thanks
Ram

Hi Ram,
I think you're fine -- as long as you back up the text file containing the product data that is in your WhizLabs directory (NB: Sorry I can't be more accurate here -- I am at work and don't have my application here.) I have done several re-installs on my box since purchasing the application and as long as I make sure to substitute the backed up text file for the one in the directory on install, it will activate using your assigned serial number no problem.
Your email purchase receipt should explain how to do this.
Hope this helps.
Darryl

Hi Darryl,
Thanks for the reply. Even I am at work and I will try to re-install later.
But could you tell me if you were able to use it online from other location say from work ? The purchase email I received gives a URL for online learning center http://www.whizlabs.com/wolc.html which takes to index.html their home page. I created a profile but unable to use the product.
I used to think I am not so stupid to not able to follow directions to install training software
Thanks again.

Hi Ram,
I had no need to do that as it's a one-time application and didn't have a need to use it from another computer.
