Should I use struts components(Action Classes, Action Servlet) in the component or interaction diagram?
I came to know from other forums that using struts can cause loss in marks as struts is not J2EE standard? is it true?
Thanks for your help.

Hi there,
I think it would be safer to incoroporate the design patterns that Struts makes use of such as Command patter, Front Control, etc. and devise your own presentation framework instead a pre-built presentation framework like Struts, Velocity, etc.
It would be interesting to hear of others have submitted SCEA diagrams using these frameworks, though, and passed.

I was thinking about whether or not to explicitly use Struts or not recently - I'd like to but it's probably safer to just represent the design patterns as you say.
Cheers
Gus
