hi; i wanted to know if someone passed part 2 without providing alternative flows in the sequence diagrams. the alternative flows do not seem important to the architecture as far as i am concerned so i am thinking not to address tham at all. any suggestions?

The alternative flows should definitely be addressed. Almost every process is simple until you take into account the alternate flows and failure conditions. Surely these alternate flows are important to the client, whether or not you feel they are important to the architecture. I can't comment on whether you could pass without addressing these alternate flows. I would think you would be heavily deduct for their omission.
