Hy,
you can find the exam objectives on the sun website:
http://training.sun.com/US/certification/java/index.html
there sould be something like a .pdf - "Certification succes guide"
you'll have to buy certif. vouchers from sun - 3 of them, costing about 150 + 250 + 150 $/�,
the first and last test are written, so you will have to get a schedule from Prometic, will cost another 30-40$
the 2nd test - is a case study, once you passed 1st, you can download it from Sun, and have "infinite" ;-) time to complete it.

i also recomend buying the Mark Cade book for preparing, it will give you an itinerary as you fly through the nights of preparing
