I just got back from taking Part 1. I received and overall score of 79%. I think I missed the last several questions because I ran out of time, but I did manage to submit an answer for all questions. Nevertheless, passing is passing and I can proceed to part 2.
After I completed the exam, I clicked on "Results" and a dialog message appeared which stated that "Since you did not accept the Privacy Agreement, a score will not be generated for this exam", or something like that. The message basically scared the crap out of me because I questioned whether or not I agreed to the Sun Agreement before I started the exam, but I'm sure I agreed to it. I did not, however, agree to parts 3 and 4 in the Sun Agreement regarding the sharing of my profile information, but there was a message across the top of the screen while answering these questions that stated I could still take the exam if I did not agree to those specific questions.
Anyway, I still got a print-out of my exam score report, so it's official as far as I'm concerned.
Anyone else experience the same problem?

yes i got the same message when i took the test last week. i almost thought i lost the test when the prometric lady said that i had passed(i got 85%), and showed me the score. wonder why sun wants to scare its candidates this way.

If anything at all, Sun should prompt the user that, if they do not agree to the 'required' agreement' sections, then the student should not be permitted to take the exam. It's rediculous to inform the student after the exam has already been taken that the scores will not be generated, but as far as they are concerned, you took the exam, and they got their money, and that's really all that matters to them because all these exams and certs are big business for Sun, Cisco, and Microsoft alike, and not much else. :-)

I got the same message, too. I took the exam on July 3rd, and my score was on CertManager today. I also paid for part II today, but have not received any instructions from Sun yet. Probably it takes a day or so.

I have just taken the 310-051(SCEA part1) exam today and I passed with 79%, i answered 38/48 correctly.
I used Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE - Technology Study Guide by mark Cade.
SCEA-Nutshell and SCEA Quick Reference from the group on Yahoo.
And WhizLabs exam simulator.
However I believe that the actual exam is harder than the simulator and practise questions, I was confused by several questions and had to guess quite a few questions, and some questions tested stuffs I have never seen in all the study materials I used. Also some tricky questions too.
I just finished in time with few seconds left and was very nervous until I got the score report.

I experienced the same thing . But apparently there
was no actual problem (after I complained to Prometric and
Sun ). I got my certificate and
subsequently downloaded Part 2. So rest easy. I speculate that
the problem is in Prometric's form that is supposed
to handle the whether you want a print out. It may,
at that point, think that you are completely "out"
of the test that has just completed, so it thinks
you haven't started  (and so have not signed an agreement).
Just an idle guess.
