It's not necessary to show j2ee components in the component diagram.You should make all technology decision here.The design principle,design pattern should be applied.

The assignment description clearly says one should represent all J2EE components in the component diagram - things such as JSPs, Servlets, EJBs etc.

Open Group Certified Distinguished IT Architect. Open Group Certified Master IT Architect. Sun Certified Architect (SCEA).

If you look at the component diagrams in the SCEA study guide by Cade and Roberts, you will not find an entity bean on any of them. Can you imagine this system w/o an entity bean?
If you research Applying UML and Patterns or UML Distilled on the subject of component diagrams you will wonder about Sun's competency.
Must be it's like college, just turn something in. People who pass seem to lose more points on the class diagram.
Just my 2 cents.
