Guys,
I think the answer is C, but correct answer says D. ??? Which one is correct?
You are looking at a class diagram that another developer has drawn. You notice a solid black diamond and a line linking two classes together. What does the black diamond imply in UML?
AAggregation
BAssociation
CComposite Aggregation / Composition
DDependency
EInheritance/Generalization

You are definately correct the answer is composition and definitely not dependency which is a open arrowhead on a dotted line. Realization has a open triangle on dotted line. Diamonds are always aggregation with the solid filled in diamond representing the special case of composition.
See UML Distilled inside front and back cover for good cheat sheets for UML Syntax.
