Dear All,
I finished Part II today and am planing to upload it (maybe sleep another night before). Can anybody tell me how to prepare for Part III best please? I often read it's easy, but I think 'easy' is a question of preparation. So I'm thankful for any hint.
Enjoy your weekends,
Bernd Pross

Hi Bernd,
Part III is really easy. You only need to know your design and why you did it that way. You will need no other preparation.
Enjoying the weekend already ;-)

Not in this case. If you did the assignment yourself then Part 3 is a walk in the park.

i m just wondering how much documentation do you have?
I am writing my documentation right now but havent done the sequence diagram but i seem to have lots of documentation because there are so many things to explain, did u base ur design on the petstore architecture?

I only had a single page of bulleted design notes/assumptions on top of the required UML Diagrams. If your diagrams are done well then you really shouldn't need much more documentation.

I updated 8 documents, not very detailed but showing the mechanic how the different tiers work togather. I got this idea from Mark Cades book. In my documentation I just told what the application was able to do and the behaviour of what was not clearly described in the use cases.
I did my design closer on Duke's Bank Application, which is part of SUN's J2EE tutorial. I found the Pet Store to complicate for my small application, but beeing excellent as a working study.
Have fun,
Bernd

Hi all,
I saw my result for Part II in the internet today and it was PASSED.
I looked twice, but it did not change. A big stone fell off my heart.
Thank you guys for any support I got from you.
Have fun,
Bernd
