Hi All,
I just completed, sucessfully, part1 of the SCEA cert. I had a number of problems with the regisration process which I want to make you test takers aware of.
First - if you call the prometric test center to make the appointment make sure that the registration actually goes through and you receive a confirmation number. They told me that my registration went through and when I arrived this past Friday 9/12/03 they had no record of it! It took them 2 hours to get me re-registered and download the test from prometric. All this time the center was blamming Prometric for the problem. The assistant called Prometric several times during this process and they could have been much more helpful than they were.
The center recommended that in the future that I register on-line to avoid this since the prometric system doesn't work well.
Second - Check out the center that you want to use. The first one had 4 computers shoved into a small office with no ventilation It was also very noisy. At least they got the registration correct!
Hope your test taking experiences are good!
Noel
