I noticed under Database Connectivity, that understanding Screen Scrapers is a requirement for the SCEA certification. Does anyone know where I can find a free (or even better open source) screen scraper I can use with a terminal emulator?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Freshmeat lists 3 projects(2 open source, 1 free but restricted) which do screen scraping. 1 of the open source projects is in Perl, the other two are Java.
But my experience was that we didn't need to know much about screen scraping other than the fact that it exists, it is one way to access legacy data (possibly the only way if there is no other access), and that it is easy to break a screen scraping program by very small changes in the screen output (as I well know - I had to do a lot of screen scraping in my last job, and it seemed that 90% of the work was catering for changes on the back end, or catering for new screen formats that the experts hadn't told us existed (or that they didn't know existed  )).
