I think we could agree there are a limited amount of SCEA studyguides out there, compared to SCJP studyguides. I knew this book (below) has had mixed reviews/ratings but bought it anyway, due to lack of alternative studyguides.
Has anyone used this book, and if so, what are your honest impressions of it for the SCEA exam?

I used the book with ISBN: 0130449164.
That got me through part 1 and they have an example solution for part 2.
I will say if you have worked with J2EE before using this one is good enough. Only ~200 pages VS the 1000 pages for the other book

I have both of them.
If you are good at EJB, 0130449164 might get you pass the exam.
If you are relative new to EJB, you should read 0072226870. There are a lot of negative reviews for 0072226870. I think it is somehow unfair. The book is hard to read, and there are mistakes in the book. However, SCEA is hard. EJB is hard. Let me give you a sample. A remote home interface is not a remote interface. (It sounds like "A white horse is not a horse"). If you don't understand it after reading the book, read it a few more times.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Oh well, I might consider buying that other book if it's more thurough and better written.
