Hi All,
Last week i have passed SCEA with 75%, Even though it is not a great score. It was really good experience preparing for this exam, especially i have gained good knowledge on UML and Patterns.
This exam is a good starting point for aspiring Architects, I value this exam a lot.
I have used the following books for my preparation.
SCEA guide by Mark Cade
SCEA guide by Allan (Few Chapters)
UML Distilled by Martin Fowler
EJB - Oreilly Publications
Notes for SCEA yahoo groups.
EXAM SIMULATORS is really NOT REQUIRED, if you really prepared well. I had a bitter experience using WHIZLABS exam simulator, there were lot of bugs in the exam simulator which really does not help me for the exam.
I really regret of buying it for 89$. In my case it does not make any difference.Especially the way they responded after buying the product was very very bad. I was not at all happy.
I am into Part-II now, Dont have any idea.. Friends your guidence is appreciated.
Last but not least, I sincerely thank all of you for your valuable postings in this forum.
Regards
