Hi All,
I Passed SCEA Part-1 with 91%, Thank you very much to all of the contributors here in Java ranch. For preparing SCEA exam this SCEA Forum at Javaranch is a much useful resource.
I am mentioning my analysis of the exam here:-
About the Exam : The exam reasonably tough enough, since its covering various technologies in J2EE ,Its 5 mile wide and 5 inches depth kind of exam.
The Books I read:
SCEA Study Guide by Mark Cade,
GOF Design Patterns,
Javaranch scea forum messages,
some mock tests,
About mock tests: a lot of questions in INE systems mock tests seems to me as irrelevant, for example: nearly dozen questions in patterns, by giving a pattern diagrams and asking which pattern it is, I did not see any of such questions in real exam. It seems INE tests are far from real exam, Whizlabs questions toughness is nearly equal to real exam questions.
Thank you all of you for your messages and explanations.
Thanks,
George Thomson
