Hi All,
I am wondering what you do on PartII.
1. You basically produce A model which services as both a analysis and desige model using UML.
2. Do you have to bind youy model to J2EE elments?
3. Do you actually produce a deployable unit either ejb.jar or .ear file
4 If you do have to produce a deployable archive file, will your test automatically failed if examinar cannot depoly it. (In SCJD case, the uploaded jar contains a runnable Server-client appliation. If grader cannot
start your app, the your test is automatically failed.)
Thanks for your time

I think there is no need to develop java code or WAR or EAR files for Part-2 Assignment, we have to design various UML diagrams of the system, then save in GIF/JPG format, embed in HTML files, wrap up all stuf in JAR format, then upload it.
anyway I am still preparing for Part-2, If peaople who already uploaded the assignment shares their thoughts, may be more helpful

Yes. The key is UML compliance. Your assignment download bundle contains specific instructions including the kind of diagrams that you need to submit. Normally class, sequence and component diagrams are required.

2. Do you have to bind youy model to J2EE elments?

Yes. You must represent J2EE platform elements in the component diagram at the least. As an architect this is(/will be) what you normally do ie., design the system and communicate it to the rest of the team in terms of different UML artifacts.

3. Do you actually produce a deployable unit either ejb.jar or .ear file

No.

4 If you do have to produce a deployable archive file, will your test automatically failed if examinar cannot depoly it. Thanks for your time

See #3.
Good luck,
