Hello, all,
I am going to use Struts framework in the assignment. However, I am not sure what is the best way to present my sequence diagrams.
If I inlcude the Struts logics, my sequence diagrams for the use cases will be blurred with the struts dirty details.
If I exclude any struts-related info in sequence diagrams, I don't know what is the best way to describe my design using Struts.
Any comments?
Best,
Thanks.
Denis

Denis,
It would be a good idea to keep the architecture vendor neutral and depict only generic J2EE components/patterns. You could provide supplementary diagrams or document it elsewhere about your choice of tools/frameworks with the necessary justificiations. You may want to take a closer look at the exam objectives and the marking criteria before you make up your mind as to how much of Struts you want to show in your diagrams, if you decided to go that route.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Sridhar
