Rams,
Do you want info about how to register in India?
1. Contact Sun's Banglore office, they will get you the exact payment
( till March end it was Rs.6000/- for SCEA part I) and address details.
2. You will have to send DD to SUN's Banglore office. They will send you a voucher then. Voucher is valid for 3 months.
3. When you get the voucher, you can register in any Prometric test center near you and take the exam before voucher expires.

Hi Harish & Rams,
Harish - as you have no doubt noticed, our FAQ's have moved from the test server to the faq server. (I will be fixing the links on the top of this forum in just a few moments.) I corrected the typo in the URL you first posted.
Rams - I think the link that might help you better is the FAQ link (http://faq.javaranch.com/view?SunCertifiedEnterpriseArchitectFaq). According to that:

Where can I find information on Cost / Location of exam sites in <your country>?

  • Go to http://www.2test.com
  • Select your area of study (hint: IT)
  • Choose your country and state if applicable and click "Next"
  • Click "Schedule an appointment"
  • Select "Sun Microsystems" from "Client", and "Sun Microsystems (310,311)" from Program and click "Next"
  • Read the information on Sun (NOTE THE CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSES) and click "Next"
  • Select "310-051 -- SUN CERTIFIED ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT FOR J2EE(TM) TECHNOLOGY" - The price should be displayed at the bottom of the screen
  • Click "Next"
  • See the listing of the testing centers in your Country.

  • Regards, Andrew
