Hello
The third is not necessary for part 1...
I used the first two for my preparation...
I think that the Mark Cade/Simon Roberts book is enough, read the anoter as a extra source...
MUST read the Design Patterns by GOF
Read articles on the net ... Is very important!
Subjects that I recommend:
- B2B/B2C (hub, etc)
- Security (not specific to j2ee, like policy, etc)
- Load balancing
- Proxy/Firewall's
Good luck!

What is the recommended readings for this.
I have searched and found that the two books below are good, which do you recommend or there is another books.

Design Patterns by Erich Gamma (Author), Richard Helm (Author), Ralph Johnson (Author), John Vlissides (Author)

Sure!
I 've found many of them visiting two yahoo groups:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/scea_j2ee/
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/java-architect/
Best regards,

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
