Hi All,

I'm supposed to take up my SCEA 1 on June 5.
But, unfortunately I haven't started preparing for it seriously!
I haven't worked on J2EE framework in depth. Never worked on EJB.
I have worked li'l bit on UML. Have regisfor it 2 months before.
Now, getting really worried. Is it possible to clear the exam
if I prepare 5-6 hours daily? Or do you think I should postpone it ?

If I've to postpone the exam, do i need to pay extra buks ?

-Thanks
RAKESH

Hi Rakesh,

It is always good to have hands on experience but is is not needed.
If you are experienced enough, have good conceptual understanding of OO and distribiued processing and good at grasping new things fasr,it is possible to clear part I. Otherwise it will be difficult.

If I could bet, I would bet that you cant pass it in 15 days. The SCEA PartI exam is more challenging than many people think. It is one of the most challenging exams I have ever taken. It is unlikely that anyone can pass it without in depth and clear understanding of EJB. On top of EJB, there are many other features in J2EE that are challenging for exam takers.

Good luck and let me know if you could pass it in 15 days.
