Hi,

Part II provides the following hardware for the system:

an E10000 for the application server
an E6500 for the Oracle database
two 450's for the web servers

Should I deploy the JSP/Servlet on the two 450's or on the E10000? I assume that only an application server provides the servlet container, not the web servers, am I wrong?

Thanks
James

James,

I think you are right. I think it is safe to assume that the application server in this context hosts the JSPs and Servlets.

Any one else on this?

Where I work that is how we break it down. So I also think you are correct.

I also agree. The 450's should contain the static stuff (HTML, etc).
