I am using Rational Rose and am done with my class diagram (more or less). I am not sure what is it that you are asking. If I understand it, I will try to help you out.
Regards.

Hello Bharat,

Thanks for your reply. Here is what I'm trying to do -

In class diagram, I have two classes e.g. Person and Company. They are connected by an Association link

works for >
Person -------------------------- Company

Here the name of the association link is "works for" and direction is from Person to Company indicating that Person works for the Company and not the vice-versa. If I didn't have the direction here, it would be confusing that who "works for" who.
In Rational Rose, I am having difficulty to DRAW the DIRECTION arrow. Ofcourse, I did Right-Click on association link and, in Details pane, I have specified the "Name Direction" but it wouldn't reflect in diagram.

Please let me know...

Thanks a lot
- Harish

Ohhhh. Its so difficult to draw a diagram using text. In the diagram above, please consider "works for >" on the middle of the link.

Hello Harish,
I didn't get time this week-end to work on the assignment, but plan on getting back to you sometimes by early next week. I am not sure if I can find the answer, but will definitely give it a shot.
My apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

Presumming you are interested in providing navigation arrow --->. here is how you do it

1. Select the unidirectional Association
2. connect the Class using the Selected association link
3. Right click on the association link and then select navigable option

Bharat - Thanks for your reply.

Sanjay - Thanks for your response. However, I am NOT looking for way to depict Navigatibility. I am looking for the DIRECTION of NAME that is generally shown by a solid arrowhead. For example,

http://www.agilemodeling.com/style/classDiagram.htm#Figure7

In the above digram, pay attention to DESCRIBES association name with solid arrowhead.

Thanks guys

Hello Harish,
I tried, but didn't have any luck. I think you have to use the "Text" stuff to label, but it is a mess! I am not sure if you want to get into it.
Sorry.
