just curious about what software are you using for UML drawing?
esp. for those PART II takers.

I am working with rational rose now, but its functions are a bit complicated. So I am looking for a "good" software my PART II to replace it. *_^

Thanks for any advise given

I'm using Jude for part II. So far, I'm quite satisfied with this free tool.

Before that, I've tried a few other tools like rational rose, ArgoUML and visual paradigm. Rational rose was not flexible enough for me to draw the sequence diagrams. ArgoUML and Visual paradigm caused my system hanged. So in the end, I've settled down with Jude.

Hi, Joyce, Thanks for the recommendation....I just installed the Jude, it looks great. but I meet a problem when export to HTML. the error promoted is "Copy %JAVA_HOME%/lib/tools.jar to JUDE directory, please"....i just check my jdk lib directory there is no jar named tools. I am afraid whether it is becoz my jdk version. I am using 1.4.2, not 1.4.1 said on Jude website. any idea?

Thanks again for bring me this nice URL tool.

Hank, I didn't use the "export html" feature. Anyway, it's been reported that this feature cannot be used. Read here.I use "print diagram to Png/jpeg" feature. You can disable the grid lines by unchecking the grid feature in Tool-->System Properties-->Grid.

I'm using 1.4.2 and there's tools.jar file under <java-home>/lib.

Jude is the dogs's , no more having to use MS-PowerPoint to create the UML
But it is surpose to creat java classes based on the diagram. All I get back is empty java classes no relationships no nothing.

The Jude website has been down for a couple of days. Anyone have any idea why? Is there any other place from which to download the product?

If not, what would be the next best free or near-free choice?
